It’s a sensible, highly organised country. The population is forthright and straight forward. There is nothing feminine or flamboyant about Germany. I love the straight forwardness of this nation – how everything is exactly how it is with no apology. Conversely, as a vegetarian, I love the food. The mountains in Bavaria fill me with joy. Munich may well be one of my favourite cities in Europe.
Thanks to connections in both Berlin and Munich, I’ve visited a few times. This will always be a country I return to. To visit friends, to explore new cities and landscapes. To write even more about this intriguing country and its beautiful landscapes.
