I took my first trip to Australia at the end of 2018 and spent Christmas in northern Queensland. It was my first taste of this country and I loved it. Before visiting, I had reservations about going to Australia, but this trip blew those reservations out of the water.
I discovered a beautiful, diverse and flourishing country full of warm and welcoming people. The Great Barrier Reef took my breath away. I explored Brisbane, took a boat through the mangroves of Northern Queensland and spent a day snorkelling.
